Why is Custom Code the Only Way for SaaS?

Business clients often ask: "Why not WordPress?". In the case of Korksy, WordPress would have failed completely. Marketplace platforms require the handling of complex business logic that off-the-shelf templates simply cannot process. - No Compromises: Korksy features its own digital wallet system (Korksy Coins). Implementing a virtual currency tied to microtransactions and commission fees on WordPress would have created massive server loads and a high risk of critical errors. - Unbreakable Security: A custom architecture protects login credentials, payment history, and access to the calendars of thousands of students by relying on modern, enterprise-grade authentication standards rather than popular (and easily exploitable) out-of-the-box solutions.

Scalability and Future Expansion

"How does the expansion of such a website look in the future?" We built the Korksy platform as a modular application. In the future, adding features like a built-in video chat system (instead of Google Meet) or a dedicated mobile app will simply involve writing new functions (API endpoints), not rebuilding the entire platform.
