ALC Lakiernia

A workshop website that starts helping before the customer calls.

The website of a body and paint shop in Olsztyn, built around one situation: someone has just had a collision and does not know what to do next. It leads them from the first screen through insurance and a courtesy car to filing the claim. Designed and written from scratch.

Starting point

After a collision nobody reads an offer. They look for someone to sort it out.

A workshop's customer arrives on the site stressed, often still at the scene and with a phone in hand. They do not care about a list of services, only three things: who pays, what they will drive, and what to do now. The ALC site had to answer them within seconds and take the matter over at once.

What the site had to do

  • An answer to "what now?" on the very first screen
  • Insurance and the courtesy car explained in plain words
  • A claim filed in a minute, from a phone

The decisions,one by one.

ALC Lakiernia: The first screen speaks to a person after a collision

The first screen speaks to a person after a collision

The headline does not introduce the company; it asks a question and answers it at once: had a collision? We will take care of everything. Beneath are two ways forward, a quote or a call, and three statements that lift the heaviest weight: cashless, with a courtesy car, with a guarantee.

  • A headline written from the customer's side, not the workshop's
  • Phone and quote visible without scrolling
  • Strong contrast and large type, readable under stress and on a phone

A separate page, "After a collision", explains what people fear most: the paperwork. Three blocks say how cashless repair works, where the courtesy car comes from and who talks to the insurer. For the curious there is a guide to deadlines and drivers' rights.

  • Settlement through third-party or own insurance in one sentence
  • A guide to insurance, deadlines and the customer's rights
  • Two contact buttons beside every block of content

The "Our transformations" section gathers real repairs from the workshop and lets visitors filter them by type of work: collision repair, painting, polishing. Each card says what had to be done and what the result is. It is the simplest proof that the people here know their trade.

  • A filter by type of repair
  • A short description of the scope for each car
  • Photographs from the workshop, not from a stock library

The form asks for exactly what the workshop needs to call back with something concrete: what the matter is, which car it is and what happened. Beside it are the phone, address, hours and a map. The customer picks the route that suits them, and the request goes straight to the service panel.

  • A form with a choice of the type of matter
  • Phone, address and hours in one frame
  • Requests handled in an admin panel

Under the bonnet, the part nobody sees.
